Itinerary Summary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Transfer to Arusha Town;
Day 2: Arusha Town – Serengeti National Park (via Ngorongoro Conservation Area);
Day 3 & Day 4: Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha Town;
Day 6: Departure – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO);
Driving in the Parks/Conservations Areas;
- For clients’ safety and that of the wildlife, our Safari Driver Guides are not allowed to exceed a speed of 50KPH in the parks, while the speed limit inside the park is strictly 25KPH.
- Game viewing from vehicles is restricted to designated tracks/ roads and driving off- road is not allowed except in specified areas; please check with your Guide.
Consider below notes while in the National Parks;
- Do not take water from any natural sources in the park/conservation.
- Please put your trash in authorized sites only in order not to litter the parks/conservation.
- Put burning cigarettes and butts in your vehicle’s ashtrays.
- Do not remove any animate or inanimate object from the park/conservation.
- Do not bring any animals or any plants to the parks/conservation.
- Do not bring any poison, weapons, explosives, or any object of that kind into the Parks.
- Do not get out of your vehicle, or hang out of the windows near any animal.
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire – Baobab Giants & Elephant Herds
After breakfast in Arusha, your adventure kicks off with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park — home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive across diverse terrain filled with ancient baobab trees, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a rich array of birdlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, where you may catch dramatic scenes of wildlife coming to drink or even predators stalking prey
Day 2: Arusha Town – Serengeti National Park (via Ngorongoro Conservation Area);
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park. The route takes you through the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views and the possibility of encountering wildlife even before entering the Serengeti.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and an extraordinary abundance of birdlife.

Day 3 & Day 4: Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy two full days dedicated to extensive game drives inside Serengeti National Park. Explore different habitats and wildlife-rich regions, enhancing your chances of observing predators on the hunt, elephants grazing, hippos wallowing, and countless herbivores moving across the plains.
Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles. Picnic lunches are served in the bush to maximize wildlife viewing time.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha Town;
After an early breakfast, embark on a transfer game drive as you exit Serengeti towards Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor, famously known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
The crater hosts one of the densest large-mammal populations in Africa, including elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and if lucky the critically endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch, continue with game viewing before driving back to Arusha Town for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Departure – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO);
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to connect with your outbound international flight.
